About Us
Background:
The Nalugoda Charity Initiative is a dynamic community-based organization in Uganda that was founded on September 17, 2023. The charity’s core mission is to improve sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Uganda, focusing on addressing the gaps in awareness, access, and service delivery. The initiative seeks to empower individuals, especially women, youth, and marginalized communities, through education, advocacy, and access to essential health services.
In Uganda, many people, particularly in rural and underserved areas, face significant barriers when it comes to sexual and reproductive health. These barriers include limited access to information, stigma, and inadequate health services. Nalugoda Charity Initiative works to break down these barriers, fostering an environment where individuals can make informed and empowered choices about their sexual health and well-being.

“To advocate for and promote sexual and reproductive health and rights for all individuals, particularly marginalized and underserved populations, by providing access to critical health services, education, and advocacy. Through our work, we aim to empower communities with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their sexual health, contributing to equitable, inclusive, and sustainable well-being for all.”
